METHOD FOR TRIMMING OF UPHOLSTERY MATERIAL OF SEAT FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form stitch sewings on both sides of a hanging part when side parts are sewn on the bucket part of a upholstery material, to improve sewing work efficiency by simultaneously forming stitch sewings on bottom ends of both side parts with forming of a sewing part of a hook member and to improve looking of appearance. SOLUTION: Stitch sewings 35 and 36 on both sides 28a of the hanging part 28 are integrally formed when side parts 25 are sewn on the bucket part 23 of a upholstery material. The stitch sewing 38 is performed from the outside of the bottom end 25b of one of the side parts 25 and the hook member 29 made of a synthetic resin is sewn on the hanging part 28 continuously with this stitch sewing 38. Being continued with sewing of the hook member 29, the stitch sewing 40 is continuously formed from the inside of the other bottom end 25b of the side part 25 toward the outside. The stitch sewings 35 and 36 on both side parts of the hanging part 28 are formed in a straight line.
