PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mutation induction to a double chromosome so as to elucidate a gene function, to obtain both a cell and a higher organism model into which the mutation is introduced by using the method and to provide a method for elucidating a gene using the cell or a higher organism. SOLUTION: This method for mutation induction to a double chromosome useful for elucidating a gene function comprises a recombination system application. The cell or higher organism model into which the mutation is introduced is provided by using the method. |
