METHOD FOR DETECTING COINCIDENCE IN HEARTBEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system and a method for monitoring first and second heartbeats and detecting coincidence. SOLUTION: In a heartbeat coincidence detecting method (50), first and second signals are received from first and second heartbeat generating sources (16 and 18) and the first heartbeat is detected on the first signal. Each kind of first heartbeat generation is provided with each time related to the generation. The second heartbeat generation is detected on the second signal. Each kind of second heartbeat generation is provided with each time related to the generation. The first heartbeat generation time is compared with the second heartbeat generation time in order to detect the coincidence.
