<p>PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to reduce noise and vibration by absorbing and reducing shock waves generated as compression waves of fluid collides against an inner wall of a plenum. CONSTITUTION: A compressor includes a valve seat(6) having an outlet(2) through which fluid is pushed in by reciprocation of a piston and an outlet(4) through which pushed-in fluid is discharged; a head cover(12) installed on an upper side of the valve seat to form a discharge plenum(10) where fluid temporally stays; a discharge valve installed on the valve seat to open the outlet when pressure of fluid is over fixed value; and a noise reduction device comprising a plurality of microscopic protrusions formed in the discharge plenum to absorb and reduce shock waves of fluid pushed in through the outlet by forming microscopic spaces, in which fluid stays, between the microscopic protrusions and the discharge plenum.</p> |
