PURPOSE: A water-hammering preventing apparatus is provided to improve the endurance and to reduce the repairing and maintenance work by preventing rust from being created even when the water-hammering preventing apparatus is used for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A housing(30) is coupled to a middle portion of a pipe(10). A piston(35) and an elastic member(45) for supporting the piston(35) are installed in the housing(30). A water-hammering preventing apparatus is provided to absorb pressure in the pipe(10). The elastic member(45) includes a plurality of elastic balls(45a) made of synthetic resin having superior elasticity. The plurality of elastic balls(45) are arranged in a row in an actuating direction of the piston(35). A spacer(50) having a disc shape is interposed between the elastic balls(45).
