PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a basket for cultivating scallops from being broken by the horizontal movement of the basket and the protrusion of a hanging string when cleaning the basket. SOLUTION: This apparatus for cleaning the basket for cultivating the scallops has a plural number of pairs of rubber rollers 1 with fixed shafts, positioned at the lower side, and rubber rollers 2 with moving shafts, positioned at the upper part, arranged so as to be faced to each other, and the baskets in two lines in the case of square baskets 7 or in central one line in the case of round baskets 8 are fed between the rubber rollers 1 and 2. High-pressure seawater is jetted from upper positions of the traveling cultivating baskets to remove the attachment to the baskets. Turning pipes 3 axially supported and turning in a prescribed angle are installed in the upper parts of each center of the square baskets 7 in the two lines, and plural pairs of nozzle pipes 4 are joined to each of the turning pipes 3 by shifting the positions so as to face to the lower positions at which the rubber rollers 2 with the fixed shafts are not present except the entrances, and so that the high pressure seawaters jetted from the nozzle pipes 4 through the turning pipes 3 may not clash with each other. The high-pressure seawater jetted from each of the nozzle pipes 4 is regulated so as to carry out a motion of pendulum so as to take symmetrical positions in the view from the traveling direction of the cultivating baskets, so that the seawater may cover the width of the square basket 7 and the round basket 8 just under the turning pipe 3 at the same side.
