LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, PARTICULARLY REGARDING TO PREVENTING INFERIORITY OF CELL GAP DUE TO SEAL PATTERN STEP HEIGHT

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal panel for a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent inferiority of a cell gap due to a seal pattern step height between an injection port and other areas. CONSTITUTION: A color filter substrate has color filters. A TFT array substrate(110) faces the color filter substrate, and has a display part where a plurality of thin film transistors are formed, and a non-display part(NA). A liquid crystal injection port area is formed at one side of the non-display part of the TFT array substrate. V_com lines(121) are formed at the non-display part, having narrow width at the liquid crystal injection port area. A liquid crystal injection port metal layer(122) is formed at the liquid crystal injection port area, being separated from the V_com lines. A passivation layer is formed on a front surface of the TFT array substrate, and includes passivation layer holes(137,138) exposing the liquid crystal injection port metal layer and the V_com lines. A seal pattern(172) is placed at a frame between the color filter substrate and the TFT array substrate, and is continued over the passivation layer including the passivation layer holes at an edge area except the liquid crystal injection port area, having a plurality of regular patterns. A liquid crystal layer is interposed into the seal pattern.
