PURPOSE: To provide a device for forming the center of tapping hole of blast furnace to easily perform automatic opening operation of tapping hole and prevent poisoning accident of toxic gas by forming a groove at a central portion of mud material of tapping hole, thereby maintaining the center of tap hole opener. CONSTITUTION: In a device for forming the center of the tap hole opener on a mud material portion of tapping hole to open the tapping hole by an tap hole opener in case of discharging molten material inside a blast furnace by opening the tapping hole of the blast furnace, the device(1) for forming the center of tapping hole of the blast furnace comprises a body part(5) removably mounted on a tip(120a) on the front side of mud gun(120) through a hook(42); a semispherical projection part(10) formed on the front surface of the body part; and a groove formed by the projection part by rotating the mud gun to the front surface of the mud material sealed in the tapping hole.
