PURPOSE: A position adjusting device is provided to enhance the work efficiency and productivity by enabling a spaced distance between roller guides to be automatically and variably adjusted depending on the width of a blank. CONSTITUTION: An automatic position adjusting device is provided for guiding and supporting a blank(200) wound into a roll while the blank is moved by its winding-off. The position adjusting device comprises a blanking die(100), first and second roller guides(110,120), first and second actuators(130,140), first and second rods(150,160), first and second brackets(170,180), proximity switches and a controller portion. The blanking dies(100) are mounted below the feeding blank to support the blank. The first and second roller guides(110,120) are mounted to oppose the opposite sides of the blank, respectively, with a predetermined distance therebetween above the blanking dies, and rotate in contact with the sides of the blank. The first and second actuator(130,140) are mounted to the corresponding guide rollers above the blanking dies, respectively, and are driven by the input of a supplied driving control signal. The power generated by the movement of the actuators is transmitted to the first and second rods(150,160) to operate them in order to be linearly moved toward the first and second guides, respectively. The first and second brackets(170,180) are connected to ends of the first and seconds rods, respectively, and are mounted in such a way that the first and second guides can be rotated. The proximity switches are mounted to the corresponding first and second brackets, have heads contacting the sides of the blank, and generate signals corresponding to contact conditions with the blank sides. The controller portion calculates signals input from the proximity switches, and supplies the first and second actuators with the corresponding driving control signal.
