PURPOSE: A method for managing using details of rental electric home appliances using a communication network is provided to perform a washing at any place easily by lending electric home appliances as a washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A user operates one terminal, connects to a web site operated by a washing managing server through an Internet network, and inputs one's member number(S10,S12). The member number is inputted to the washing managing server through the Internet network, the washing managing server certifies the inputted member number based on a pre-stored member database(S14). If the inputted member number is normal, the washing managing server transmits an operation lock releasing signal to a controller on a washing machine through the Internet network and a terminal(S18) for performing washing by the washing machine. If the user presses a washing start button on the washing machine or a specific button in the terminal(S20), the washing machine is operated and the current washing material information is transmitted to the washing managing server through the Internet network(S22). If a washing process is completed(S24), the washing managing server transmits corresponding washing contents and a washing charge to the user terminal through the Internet network(S26). The washing managing server issues a receipt including the washing contents and the washing charge and transmits the receipt to the user(S28).
