PURPOSE: A pressure difference between a fuel pressure and an intake back pressure is controlled not to be excessively uneven, thereby preventing abnormal air fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pressure adjusting device comprises a body(31) connected with a fuel introducing pipe, a discharging pipe, and a pressure pipe applied with an intake back pressure from a surge tank. A needle valve(35) moves to open and close exit of the fuel introducing pipe into the body. A diaphragm(36) is connected movably by the pressure difference between the intake pressure and fuel pressure in the rear part of the needle valve. A returning spring(37) is elastically installed in the rear end of the diaphragm.
