PURPOSE: Composition of an image is provided to cut down expenses by using low speed circuits without double circuits with initializing the image in performing mapping of the image. CONSTITUTION: A set of image samples(IS) is established from a set of image sample values(SV) and geometrical parameters in the following manner. In an initialization step(INIT), a mask(MSK) is generated from the geometrical parameters. In a mapping step(MAP), the set of image sample values is mapped on the set of image samples. The mask intervenes in the mapping. The mask is in the form of a set of Boolean values, and the set of Boolean values is associated with the set of image sample values for defining a sub-set. The set of Boolean values prevents the mapping of image sample values that do not belong to the sub-set. |
