PURPOSE: When a transmission lever is switched to a driving state, an air compensation learning is carried out by a various engine rpm to improve idle quality and driving comfort. CONSTITUTION: When an automobile is started, whether a transmission lever is switched by a driver is decided. A condition to carry out an engine load compensation learning is decided. An engine idle air compensation value and engine rpm deviation are outputted, and a learning is carried out by the engine rpm deviation.
