PURPOSE: A ball joint for motor vehicle is provided to lengthen useful lie of ball joint and improve product quality by preventing leakage of the lubricating material filling the dust cover. CONSTITUTION: A ball joint(10) comprises a case(14); and a dust cover(15) which is press fit and coupled to the case. The case has, at an outer periphery thereof, a coupling groove, and the dust cover has a protrusion to be coupled with the coupling groove. The protrusion of the dust cover has a cut-out groove formed at the protrusion so as to allow the protrusion to be transformed when the protrusion is coupled into the coupling groove. The case has a circular protrusion(12) arranged inside of the case, with a bearing(13) interposed between the circular protrusion and the case. A stud(11) formed integrally with the circular protrusion penetrates through the dust cover. The dust cover is filled with a lubricating material(16) for preventing friction of the circular protrusion and the bearing.
