METHOD OF MASKING MASK FOR ALIGNING POLARIZER PROTECTION FILM

PURPOSE: A method of masking a mask for aligning a polarizer protection film is provided to perform masking with high accuracy using a camera to correct warping of polarizer. CONSTITUTION: A cross mark for alignment is formed at a specific point on a polarizer protection film placed on a cell table. A reflection type mask is masked above the protection film. An image processing unit is set at a predetermined portion of a POL table(12) at which a cross mark is indicated, and positions of POL mask and cell mask are set and registered. The image processing unit calculates the position between the two masks to drive motors(14) through correction values of a POL table(12) and the cell table.
