PURPOSE: A door checker stay of a vehicle is provided to prevent the generation of paint remnants by reducing the friction between a door check stay and a recess of a door inner panel front portion when a door is opened and closed after painting. CONSTITUTION: A door checker stay(100) consists of a fixing unit(110) having a hole(112) fitted with a bolt and a coil(120) wound on the fixing unit by being extended and having a fixing sill(130). The coil of the door checker stay is made with an elastic material. The door checker stay sustains the opened state of a door. After painting, the friction between the fixing sill of the coil and a recess in the door inner panel front portion is reduced. Therefore, the generation of paint remnants is avoided.
