PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display panel is provided to expand a scribe line with heat to divide a substrate into cells so as to prevent fails from being generated during a break process. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor and a pixel electrode are formed on the first substrate. A color filter and a common electrode are formed on the second substrate. The first and second substrates are attached to each other. A scribed line is formed on the surface of the attached substrate. Heat is applied to the attached substrate to expand the scribe line to divide the substrate into cells. Heat is applied to the substrate using a hot plate or a hot chamber. The divided faces of the substrate are grinded.
