PURPOSE: A near field optical recording device is provided to allow light to be regularly incident to an optical central axis of a lens, with small loads of a driving unit and regardless of an incident direction of a light source. And the device is provided to make the driving unit precisely control an operation of a head slider, by reducing the loads of the driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A lens(29) allows light(27) to be incident to a recording medium(22) and transmits reflected light. An optical head slider(28) mounts the lens. A suspension arm(26) connects the optical head slider. A pickup unit(24) supports the suspension arm. A light source is installed in an internal of the pickup unit. A VCM(Voice Coil Motor,25), as a driving unit, connected to the pickup unit is rotated within an angle of predetermined degrees to drive a rotative operation of the optical head slider. A deck separates each unit from an external. An aspheric mirror(21) installed inside the deck changes a path of light generated from the light source to be incident to the lens.
