PURPOSE: A power steering durability testing apparatus is provided to allow the steering force to be simultaneously controlled in vertical and horizontal directions. CONSTITUTION: A power steering durability testing apparatus comprises a left and right displacement steering servo motor(10) connected to a steering torque cell(9), and which is driven by the control of a control box(1) and operates load corresponding to the rotating steering angle of a steering shaft(4); a left and right displacement sensor(30) for sensing the left and right displacement performed by the left and right displacement steering servo motor; an up and down displacement servo motor(50) connected to an up and down steering force sensing torque cell(40) arranged beneath the left and right displacement sensor, and which is driven by the control of the control box and operates the lad corresponding to the up and down steering force of a tie rod(6); an up and down displacement sensor(60) for sensing the up and down displacement performed by the up and down displacement servo motor; a forward and backward displacement servo motor(70) which is driven by the control of the control box, and operates load corresponding to the forward and backward steering force of the tie rod; and a forward and backward displacement sensor installed to a rack gear which is driven by the forward and backward displacement servo motor, and which senses forward and backward displacement.
