METHOD OF FABRICATING COLOR FILTER OF THIN FILM TRANSISTOR

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a color filter of a thin film transistor is provided to omit a process step of coating a polyimide alignment material so as to simplify a thin film transistor color filter fabrication process. CONSTITUTION: Black matrix patterns(13) are formed on a transparent insulating substrate(11) at a specific interval. Red, green and blue color layers(15) are formed on the transparent insulating substrate. Each of the red, green and blue color layers is formed between neighboring black matrix patterns. A planarization layer(17) having alignment characteristic is formed on the color layers including the black matrix patterns.
