PURPOSE: Structure of a shift cable end of a vehicle is provided to reduce the production cost and the number of assembling parts, to improve productivity, and to enhance the commercial value of a vehicle by excluding such unnecessary parts as a bush assembly and a departure preventing spring member. CONSTITUTION: A slit(10b) opened from an installation recess(10a) inserted with a round protrusion(1a) of a shift lever(1) to one side is formed on a shift cable end(10). A first combining protrusion(10c) bent outward and protruded forward is formed on one face of the shift cable end. A second combining protrusion(10d) having an incision recess(10e) is formed on the other face of the shift cable end. The second combining protrusion is fitted in between the first combining protrusion and the side of the shift cable end. When the shift lever is installed, the round protrusion is directly inserted to the installation recess.
