PURPOSE: A standby power economy apparatus of a home network is provided to block power which is supplied to an appliance during a power standby in a home network. CONSTITUTION: A load(21) drives an appliance(20). The appliance(20) is connected to a home network through a power line(11) and a network line(12). A controller(22) analyzes data inputted from the network line(12) and outputs a control signal for controlling an operation of the load(21) according to the analyzing result. A low voltage transformer(24) supplies a power to the controller(22). A load relay(26) turns on/off the load(21) according to the control signal from the controller(22). A relay(23) of an LVT is located between the power line(11) and the low voltage transformer(24). A power supply selector(25) is installed between the low voltage transformer(24) and the controller(22).
