<p>PURPOSE: A heat treatment for removing residual stress of cast iron is provided, which can remove residual stress up to 80%, thus improve mechanical durability of components. CONSTITUTION: The heat treatment of the present invention is characterized in that cast iron is heated from 250°C to the temperature range of 560 to 580°C at the rate of 40°C to 60°C/h and then cooled to the temperature range of 300°C to 350°C at the rate of 20°C to 50°C followed by air cooling.</p> |
