摘要 PURPOSE: An electroluminescence display device is provided to reduce the damage to an electroluminescence layer due to degradation by extending a degradation expanding path of the electroluminescence layer degradated by the high electric field of a pixel electrode and a metal electrode. CONSTITUTION: A pixel region(15) is defined by a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines which are crossed with each other. Pixel electrodes(11) are formed at the pixel regions(15), respectively. The electroluminescence layers(13) are formed at an upper portion of the pixel electrodes(11), respectively. Metal electrodes(14) are formed at an upper portion of the pixel regions(15) which encloses the electroluminescence layers(13). TFT portions for driving the electroluminescence layers(13) are formed at the pixel regions(15), respectively. Auxiliary electrodes(16) are connected with the pixel electrodes(11) and also connected with the pixel regions(15) at a region besides the pixel regions(15). The auxiliary electrodes(16) have predetermined patterns of which a via hole for contacting with the TFT portion is formed.
