PURPOSE: A door trim crash testing apparatus is provided to evaluate dynamic characteristics of door trim by crashing the impactor advancing at the speed same as actual car speed, against the door trim mounted to a honey-comb barrier. CONSTITUTION: A door trim crash testing apparatus comprises a honey comb barrier(1) for fixing an inner panel(13) where a door trim(11) is mounted; a base plate(3) for supporting the lower portion of the honey comb barrier; a honey comb barrier fixing jig installed onto the base plate, and which supports the honey comb barrier; an impactor(7) for applying an impact at the speed same as actual car speed, to the door trim from the horizontal opposite side of the honey comb barrier fixing jig; and a control unit(9) for controlling the impactor to apply impact to the door trim. The inner panel and the honey comb barrier are interconnected through coil springs(15,17,19,21,23) which absorb impact energy generated when the outer panel and the inner panel of the vehicle door are crushed.
