METHOD FOR PROCESSING POLYESTER FILAMENT YARN FOR MECHANICAL EMBROIDERY

PURPOSE: A method for processing the subject yarn by performing the modification process of an embroidery yarn through the moisture weight reduction of a polyester filament yarn is provided. Whereby, the embroidery yarn has almost the same texture as inexpensive viscose rayon yarns. CONSTITUTION: A polyester yarn having a 150D/48F is twisted in a right and left twist ratio of 380:320(T/M), heat set in steam at 110 to 120deg.C for 30min, rewound on a bobbin to produce a filament having a take down tension of about 400 to 800g and about 50 to 1kg. The polyester filament is subjected to weight reduction processing at 100 to 110deg.C for 40 to 60min under conditions of polyester filament yarn and a weight reduction liquid of 1:30 and dried with hot blast.
