PURPOSE: A circuit for nonlinear distortion compensation of laser diode is provided to perform an optical mobile communication network economically without a laser diode having high linearity by adding a compensation circuit for distortion of a laser diode. CONSTITUTION: An electric signal coupler(10) couples a CDMA RF signal with a feedback signal. A laser diode(11) converts the coupled signal into an optical signal. An optical coupler(12) divides the optical signal into an output signal and a feedback signal. An optical detector(13) converts the feedback optical signal into an electric signal. An electric signal amplifier(14) adjusts a detected signal to a level of the signal inputted into the laser diode(11). A phase transformer(16) transforms a phase of the signal which is to be inputted into the laser diode(11) to a 180 degree. An electric signal coupler(15) couples the signal output from the electric signal amplifier(14) with the signal the phase of which is transformed to the 180 degree. A phase transformer(17) transforms a phase of the coupled signal to a 180 degree.
