PURPOSE: A method for mounting oil seal of a hydraulic pressure control valve for a steering device is provided to prevent damage of an oil seal mounted between an input shaft and a pinion housing during assembly of the oil seal. CONSTITUTION: A method for mounting oil seal of a hydraulic pressure control valve for a steering device includes the steps of mounting a protective cap to surround teeth of a pinion gear, mounting a bearing on a connection part of the input shaft through the outside of the protective cap, mounting a supporting bush on the connection part of the input shaft, putting an oil seal on the supporting bush by inserting the oil seal into the connection part of the input shaft, and removing the protective cap from the outside of the pinion gear.
