PURPOSE: An input device construction method is provided to use an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) as a pointing device by making an LCD and a touch screen in a body or to use an LCD as an exclusive display device by separating an LCD from a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of enabling a user to point a specific position on a touch screen for a set time to toggle a function of a keyboard to a function of a pointing device or vice versa, and displaying a toggling state on an LED(Light Emitting Device). The method for printing a keyboard on a touch screen is printing directly a pattern of a keyboard on a touch screen or printing a pattern of a keyboard on a transparent sheet and attaching the printed sheet on the surface of a touch screen. The attachable keyboard can have a triangular or rectangular shape. The user can change a coordinate recognition area according to the triangular or rectangular shape by an operation of a PDA.
