PISTON PIN FOR REDUCING RECIPROCATING INERTIAL WEIGHT

PURPOSE: A piston pin for reducing reciprocating inertial weight is provided to reduce reciprocating inertial weight by reducing weight of a piston pin and obtain the easy assembling of the piston pin by only using a wrench. CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod(2) is connected with a piston pin inserted through a boss(11) of a piston(1) at a connecting end(21). The piston pin is separately composed of a large diameter pin(3a) and small diameter pin(3b). The large diameter pin(3a) forms a small diameter portion inserted through a pin engagement hole(22) connected to the connecting end of the connecting rod(2) and large diameter portion inserted into the pin engagement hole, integrally. A female thread hole is formed at the center of the large diameter portion. A male thread portion threaded into the female thread hole and head portion connected to the boss of the piston(1) is integrally formed with the small diameter pin(3b). The piston(1) and connecting rod(2) are rotatably connected each other by threading the male thread portion of the small diameter pin into the female thread hole of the large diameter pin.
