REMOTE CONTROLLER REPEATER

PURPOSE: A remote controller repeater is provided to simply and remotely control a device without a necessity of moving with a remote controller to a position of the device which is somewhat distanced from the remote controller or limited in an operation distance or in a reception angle by installing a repeater having an infrared ray receiving unit and emitting unit around the device manipulated by the remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller(10) manipulates a TV set, an audio set, a video set, an air-conditioner. A repeater(20) is placed near the TV set, the audio set, the video set or the air-conditioner to receive an operation signal of the remove controller(10) and transmits a light receiving signal to the devices by wire. The repeater(20) includes a light receiving unit(21) for receiving an operation signal(infrared ray light) radiated from the remote controller(10), an amplifier unit(22) for amplifying the signal received from the receiving unit(21), a transmitting unit(23) for transmitting the signal amplified by the amplifier(22) to the devices by wire; and a light emitting unit(24) for emitting the signal amplified by the amplifier(22) to the devices. The repeater(20) connects the devices through the transmitting unit(23). If the devices operated by the remote controller(10) are distanced from each other or installed at a site beyond the operation distance or reception angle, the repeater(20) is installed for every device closely. The repeaters(20) for each device are mutually connected by wire.
