摘要 |
PURPOSE: A method for designing a temperature compensation crystal oscillator is reduce a volume ratio of a capacitor by matching a capacitance component of an X-TAL mounted at the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION: When connecting a resistor of 600 ¥Ø and a capacitor of 10pF to each other in parallel, a total capacitance is identical with that of a capacitor having a capacitance of 30 pF. When replacing an equivalent circuit which are connected a capacitor having a low capacitance and a resistor to each other in parallel with locations of capacitors C1 and C2, since an occupied area in a semiconductor IC process with respect to a resistance component is very small, a capacitance component of a capacitor is reduced 1/3. A capacitance component of a crystal using an equivalent circuit is matched so that a volume ratio of a capacitor having the greatest area in an IC process is reduced.
