PURPOSE: An array substrate of an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display is provided to improve viewing angle and picture quality of an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(120) and a data line(130) intersect each other to define a pixel region. A thin film transistor(140) is formed in the pixel region and switches a video signal of the data line according to a signal of the gate line. A pixel electrode(150) and a common electrode(160) are alternately formed in the pixel region. One end of the pixel electrode is connected to a pixel electrode connection line(151) connected with a drain electrode of the thin film transistor, and one end of the common electrode is connected to a common line(161) extended in the horizontal direction. The region between the pixel electrode and common electrode is not uniform for overall pixel regions.
