PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for electrophotographic equipment whose vibration accuracy is excellent, which is light in weight and low in cost. SOLUTION: This roll for electrophotographic equipment is provided with a shaft body 1 and an elastic layer 2 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body 1. The shaft body 1 is constituted of a core bar 3 and a cylindrical pipe 4 coaxially provided on the outer periphery of the core bar 3 by keeping a specified space, and also a packed layer 5 whose specific gravity is low is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the core bar 3 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical pipe 4.
