PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tension adjusting jig for a door drive mechanism enabling a main belt tension adjusting operation to be easily and safely conducted alone. SOLUTION: This belt tension adjusting jig comprises a fixture-shaped jig body 17, a fixing bolt 18 for fixing the jig body 17 to a door pocket 9, a contact member 19 fitted to the tip of the fixing bolt 18, and a pushing bolt 20 fitted to the jig body 17. By this, after the belt tension jig 16 is disposed near an adjusting bracket 10 and the jig body 17 is fixed to the door pocket 9, the mounting position of the adjusting bracket 10 can be properly adjusted by depressing the pushing bolt 20 in the loosened state of the fixing bolt 18.
