PURPOSE: An amine-based curing agent and a corrosion resistant composition containing an epoxy resin is provided, to improve the curability at a low temperature, the adhesive power laminated layers when repainted and the water proofness without deterioration of the chemical resistance and the corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The amine-based curing agent comprises 100 parts by weight of an epoxy adduct amine curing agent; and 5-15 parts by weight of a polyamine curing agent. Preferably the epoxy adduct amine curing agent is prepared by reacting a Mannich base type curing agent and an epoxy resin containing 1-6 intramolecular epoxy groups to make the equivalent ratio of the active hydrogen of the Mannich base type curing agent to the epoxy group of the epoxy resin be 1:0.05 to 1:0.15. The corrosion resistant composition comprises a solid curing resin whose equivalent ratio of the amine active hydrogen of the amine-based curing agent to the epoxy group of an epoxy resin is 1:0.8 to 1:1.2; and 5-20 wt% of a petroleum resin with a softening point of 60-130 deg.C. |
