LOW GLOSS POLYESTER-BASED POWDER PAINT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A low gloss polyester-based powder paint composition is provided, to improve the appearance, the leveling, the weather resistance, the mechanical strength and the durability by controlling the curing velocity and to reduce the gloss.. CONSTITUTION: The polyester-based powder paint composition comprises a fast cure-type powder paint composition and a slow cure-type powder paint composition; and the gloss of the powered paint is 5-15%. The fast cure-type powder paint composition comprises 60-80 wt% of an acidic polyester resin; 3-6 wt% of triglycidyl isocyanurate or diglycidyl-modified acryl curing agent; 20-30 wt% of titanium dioxide; 5-10 wt% of an extender pigment; and 0.1-5 wt% of other additives. The slow cure-type powder paint composition comprises 60-80 wt% of an acidic polyester resin; 0.1-4 wt% of triglycidyl isocyanurate or dilycidyl-modified acryl curing agent; 2-10 wt% of an acryl resin curing agent containing a glycidyl group with the equivalence of 250-500; 20-30 wt% of titanium dioxide; 5-10 wt% of an extender pigment; and 0.1-5 wt% of other additives.
