PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone with an image pickup function that can optionally execute/not execute image pickup of an image and transmission/ reception at a speech so as to prevent needless power consumption from at speech. SOLUTION: When an earphone 107 is plugged in an earphone jack 106, the image pickup of a camera 108 is operated and transmission/reception of an image signal is started, and when the earphone 107 is pulled out from the jack 106, the image pickup is stopped and transmission/reception of the image signal is stopped.
