摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection method for an automated guided vehicle, by which a matching processing is facilitated. SOLUTION: In the system for detecting the position of the automated guided vehicle 20 based on the reflected light rays from reflectors R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 existing in a traveling environment while rotationally scanning laser beams in a horizontal plane from a scanning type laser radar 10 mounted on the automated guided vehicle 20, the reflectors R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are formed of bar code-shaped reflectors 70. Thus, it is unnecessary to move the vehicle 20 to a home position in an initial state, and the reflector matching processing is facilitated.
