PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position film at a specified position with simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the case of positioning the frame of a movie film 4 at the specified position previously decided by feeding the film 4 in a longitudinal direction, detection means 81A to 84A, 81B to 84B, 81C to 84C and 81D to 84D are arranged corresponding to the four corners of the feeding holes of the film 4, and the positional deviation from the specified position in the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the film 4 at the stop position of the film 4 is calculated based on the detected result obtained by a plurality of detection means 81A to 84A, 81B to 84B, 81C to 84C and 81D to 84D, and the frame of the film 4 is positioned at the specified position based on the calculated positional deviation.
