PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of detecting early an abnormal load applied to a sliding part such as a valve or the like causing malfunction of a gas meter body when foreign matter enters the gas meter body to increase the load. SOLUTION: When a pressure difference operation part 14 operates the pressure difference between a first pressure value detected by a pressure sensor 22a and a second pressure value detected by a pressure sensor 22b, a warning determination part 15 determines whether the pressure difference acquired by the pressure difference operation part 14 exceeds a set value determined beforehand or not, and, when the pressure difference exceeds the set value, a warning part 30 issues a warning for showing abnormality of the gas meter.
