PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revetment structure capable of effectively applying a measure against side flowing caused by liquefaction of the ground by an earthquake, having no fear of causing the lateral flowing when the back ground moves by being accompanied by a caisson even if it slides and overturns, and relatively easy in restoring the caisson in that case. SOLUTION: This revetment structure 1 is constituted by applying the measure against the side flowing caused by the liquefaction of the ground in an earthquake. The revetment structure is provided with the caisson 3 arranged on the water 2 side, and an underground continuous wall 7 arranged between the back ground 4 side and the water 2 side, and arranged via the caisson 3 and clearance. The underground continuous wall 7 is arranged in a state of reaching a support layer 9 under a nonliquefied layer 8. The underground continuous wall 7 and the caisson 3 are arranged via a cushioning material (a cushion material 10).
