MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonchlorine based modified polyolefin resin composition having excellent adhesion to a polyolefin base material and good compatibility with other resins, and a low melt viscosity suited in use for the in-mold coating of the above base material. SOLUTION: The nonchlorine based modified polyolefin resin composition is obtained by the graft polymerization of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its anhydride onto a specified propylene copolymer and has a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-40,000 and a melt viscosity at 190 deg.C of 0.2-3.5 Pa.s, and a resin composition for the in-mold coating of a polyolefin base material uses the above composition.
