PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable persons fishing from the bank, or the like to obtain underwater information on a target point via a terminal, such as a portable phone or the like, in relation to an underwater information-providing system for providing underwater information to be utilized for fishing from the bank, etc., via a communication line. SOLUTION: There are set a database in which underwater information, including information on schools of fish, information on the sea bottoms and water temperature information is registered with information on positions where the underwater information is obtained, a receiving means for receiving via the communication line, position information of an underwater information request inputted by the user's terminal, a searching means for searching for underwater information corresponding to the received position information from the database, and a transmitting means for transmitting the searched underwater information via the communication line to the user's terminal.
