PURPOSE: An ink-jet recording medium is provided to have sufficient ink absorbency and high abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The ink-jet recording medium has, on a base material, a porous resin layer containing water-dispersible resin particles A(1) and water-dispersible resin particles B(1). The water-dispersible resin particles A(1) has a minimum film-forming temperature higher than that of the water-dispersible resin particles B and an average particle size larger than that of the water-dispersible resin particles B. The water-dispersible resin particles B(1) has a minimum film-forming temperature of not lower than 0 deg.C.
