PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low out-gassing non-halogenic flame retardant wire and cable which is predominantly composed of an olefinic resin not containing a halide and does not adsorb organic volatile components to a silicon wafer or the like even when it is used in a clean room or the like. SOLUTION: The low out-gassing non-halogenic flame retardant wire and cable are formed by coating as an insulator or a sheath a composition obtained by mixing metal hydrate of 50-200 pts.wt., an antioxidant not containing organic volatile components and a plasticizer not containing organic volatile components to 100 pts.wt. of a polyethylene, polypropylene or ethylene copolymer. |
