<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt device and an image forming device capable of preventing the occurrence of a crack in both side end parts of an endless belt of a multi-layer structure and the peeling of a belt layer or the like in the case of laying the endless belt by using a laying roller whose roller width is smaller than the belt width of the endless belt. SOLUTION: The belt width D of the belt layer having the smallest elongation (a rigid belt layer 102) in the endless belt 100A is made as the belt width of equal to or smaller than the roller width E of the laying roller (the laying roller 200) having a smallest roller width out of the laying roller 200. Thus, both side end parts 100a of the rigid belt layer 102 having the smallest elongation (where brittleness is largest) are hardly projected to the outside of the laying roller 200, so that the occurrence of the crack of both side end parts 102a of the rigid belt layer 102 is prevented.</p> |
