<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a supercharger, capable of suppressing lowering of engine torque when the intake temperature rises excessively high, and making the engine torque characteristics flatter. SOLUTION: In the supercharger to be controlled in an optimal manner according to the operating condition of the engine, the intake temperature is made to be a parameter, and the target value of a feedback control is lowered in an area, where the intake temperature exceeds a prescribed value, so as to suppress the lowering of the intake filling efficiency under high- temperature environment. In this way, since knocking occurring ignition time is shifted toward the advance angle side, by lowering the target supercharge pressure according to the rise in the intake temperature, a higher torque can be generated by the engine compared with a conventional control to suppress the occurrence of knocking by shifting the ignition time to the lag angle side with high supercharge pressure.</p> |
