PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle allocation system reducing the free running distance of a vehicle such as a taxi and allowing the discount of a fare corresponding to the reduced free running distance. SOLUTION: A vehicle management center 12 is provided for managing a plurality of vehicles and selecting one vehicle when receiving a vehicle allocation demand 9111 from a user, and transmitting vehicle allocation demand 9122 to the selected vehicle. The vehicle management center 12 holds the present position and normal stand-by position of the vehicle and acquires the getting-on position and destination position of the user when receiving the vehicle allocation demand 9111 (5201). The vehicle management center 12 computes free running curtailment distance when allocating the vehicle from the destination position of the user and the present position and stand-by position of the vehicle, computes the discount amount of money of a vehicle use fare according to the free running curtailment distance (5224) and transmits the vehicle allocation demand to the vehicle with which the sum total of the vehicle use fare and the discount amount of money becomes the minimum (5204).
