PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silane coupling agent which, when used in coating a glass fiber fabric, can enable the fabric to be promptly impregnated with a matrix resin to form a glass-fiber-reinforced layer capable of giving a printed wiring board freed from voids and reduced in blistering due to heating at a solder melt temperature. SOLUTION: There is provided a silane coupling agent prepared by reacting 1 mol of a silane compound of formula (1) with 1 mol of a compound represented by the formula: CH2=CH-R3-X. [In the formulae, R1 and R2 are each an alkylene; R3 is a divalent organic group; X is a halogen; (n) is 0-3; and (m) is 1-5]. |
